Congratulations on your offer of employment at Soboba Casino, or with the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians. In order for any person to work at the gaming facility (“Casino”) licensed by the Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission, they must possess and maintain a valid Gaming License, Work Permit, Background Clearance, or Vendor License. The Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission is responsible for issuing and monitoring all Licenses issued to any and all persons working at the gaming facility (“Casino”). In accordance with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, as well as the Tribal-State Compact between the State of California and the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians, The Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission is responsible for ensuring that everyone who is issued a License meets certain criteria and standards in order to hold and maintain a license. The issuance or granting of a License is a privilege and not a right. The term “License” includes Gaming Licenses as well as Work Permits, Background Clearances, and Vendor Licenses.
The online application pertains to your application for a License as required under the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians Interim Gaming Regulations. The information you provide in the License application will be used in the Investigation into your background to assist in determining your suitability for the position applied for. Please fill out the application completely and accurately. It is to your advantage to respond openly and honestly. Any negative factor in your background does not mean you will be denied. It will be evaluated in terms of the circumstances and facts surrounding its occurrence, and its degree of relevance to the job you are applying for. However, failure to disclose, or being dishonest are grounds for not proceeding in the process.
